Integrated Sales & Marketing Strategy wins overseas contract bid
A joint venture between a regional general contractor and an overseas real-estate developer sought to secure a major multi-million dollar overseas housing contract by developing a compelling, integrated sales and marketing strategy. The company needed to showcase how they planned to improve the speed of housing construction, as well as outline the upstream and downstream supply chain impact on job creation. The joint-venture also aimed to demonstrate its ability to deliver large-scale, high-quality housing projects that create shared value for both government and society.

THE STORY
The Challenge
To win the contract, the consortium needed to differentiate itself from competitors by showcasing its expertise in modern construction methods, supply chain management, and community development, while also addressing government priorities such as job creation, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery.
The South American country's housing construction methods were too slow & outdated, and materials were more expensive than needed. Improving the speed & efficiency of housing construction was a key initiative for the government. Newer construction materials, methods, and technology were less expensive and allowed completion of homes in less time, but there was no familiarity with these methods in-country.
